After graduating college, Rainie and I set out to live on Kauai for fall of 2016, where we worked on a nursery transplanting 70,000 lowii. We showed up with very little money and configured housing and a job within a few hours; a rarity on island. Little did we know that we would be living in the storage unit of our landlord, along with 17 broken washers and dryers. We exchanged cheap living conditions for feeding the property’s chickens and goats, as well as catching and harvesting a wild boar. Take a peek at our adventures!
